COFFEE OF MARCH: TANZANIA MT KILIMANJARO

One day I’d like to climb this mountain. It is the highest mountain in Africa and stands 4900 meters tall above its plateau base. I like a challenge and a breathtaking view, and it is only more alluring when I consider strolling through this coffee plantation on my way up. The Mt Kilimanjaro coffee plantation is located at an altitude of 1050-1400 masl, which is less than a quarter of the way up this epic volcano.  For now I will simply close my eyes and day dream whilst enjoying the delicious coffee that hales from these lands.  Sweet and syrupy, with notes of berries and a dark chocolate finish. Roasted for espresso, this one is delicious when consumed black or with a touch of milk (I recommend  a piccolo).
