This course if for baristas who have completed the Foundations + Latte Art Class and are ready to put it all into to practice.

Do you want to nail a cafe trial? Then this course is for you

Head Barista Pro is a 5 hour course – Split into 4 hours of guided practice and 1 hour of practice time.

Course Content

1 Recap of Pulling shots at speed

2 Grind adjustment

3 Setting up for day

4 Latte Art, mastering hearts, rosettas, and tulips

5 Taking Orders and serving customer

6 Closing down for day

Getting a job in specialty coffee in Australia is not about a certificate or even where you have worked before. It’s about how you perform in the cafe trial and how well you can pull off that latte art under pressure. Learn the Black Market approach and lift your game!

Black Market Training will take you behind the curtain to a real working cafe to explain the coffee-making process from seed to cup. Our experienced baristas will give you access to the same tools working baristas use on an everyday basis.

NOTE: If you would like to change the date of your booking, please give us 2 weeks notice prior to the start of the course. If it is within 2 weeks of the date, then unless a replacement can be found, we will respectfully decline your request and the booking will stand
