Origin Story
Named after the Mandailing people—historic coffee traders of Sumatra and Java—this coffee honours centuries of coffee heritage. Grown across both islands and harvested between June and December, each cherry is triple picked to ensure only the finest quality makes it into your cup.
Processing
Wet hulled (Giling Basah) - a traditional Indonesian processing method unique to the region. The beans are hulled while still moist, creating the distinctive earthy, full-bodied character and low acidity that Indonesian coffees are famous for. This time-honoured technique gives the coffee its unmistakable complexity.
Perfect For
Coffee lovers who enjoy bold, earthy profiles with low acidity. Excellent as espresso or with milk, where the rich body and spice notes really shine.
