SINGLE ORIGIN – PERU Perla de Imaza

Located in the south of the Amazonas region of Peru, the main source of water comes from the Imaza river which flows from the Amazon giving life to the land. Great care is taken in harvesting, picking only the ripest of cherries and then sorting by hand before pulping. Cherries are then fermented for 16-20 hours and carefully washed before being sun dried. The work at this farm is done by a collective of people who all contribute towards the production of specialty coffee.
